Lupe Fiasco – Bitch Bad (Prod. The Audibles) + Album News

Somehow Lupe’s second single for his upcoming album managed to slip under our radars this past week; we apologize in advance. “Bitch Bad” is probably one of Lupe’s most exciting recent tracks. In it he talks about how the media makes it seem as if being a “bad bitch” is a good/positive image and is something younger girls aspire to be, while in actuality a “bad bitch” is well, a negative term used to describe a rude and ill-mannered girl. He raps in both perspectives; one through a young boy who thinks negative of the saying, and one through young girl who believes it to be a good thing, all over a well-produced, gum-drop heavy beat courtesy of The Audibles. Pretty interesting stuff. Stream it below. Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album, Pt. 1 will be available on September 28th via Atlantic. Here’s to hoping that this doesn’t end up becoming “Lasers II“.
